ABOUT studio

QWA Studio

QWA is a multidisciplinary design studio based in New York City. The practice started in 2019 with a strong interest in art installation and architecture design. Now we provide design services in residential, commercial, office, exhibition, and digital art.

QWA has collaborated with multiple institutions,including University at Buffalo, Fashion Institute of Technology, St. JosephStudio workshop etc., for innovative design and fabrication. The exploration rangesfrom human scale furniture to large installations.

Team

Quin Wu, RA, LEED AP BD+C
Principle
The founder, Quin Wu, is a New York State registered architect who pursues architectural design and digital art throughout the past decade since his graduation from Rhode Island School of Design in 2013. Prior to his founding of QWA Studio, Quin worked at SmithGroupJJR and a couple of interior design firms in NYC. He also teaches at the Interior Design Department at Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. His work has been favorably reviewed by The New York Times and other dozens of news media.
Anthony Kim, RA
Project Manager
Anthony is a highly skilled architect with extensive experience in the field. He obtained his degree in Architecture from Michigan University in 2015 and has worked at SOM in New York. Anthony's expertise lies in building codes, zoning resolutions, construction details, and project management across all phases. He has a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing structures. With his strong background and years of experience, Anthony is a valuable member of QWA Studio.
Julia Parker
Interior Designer
Julia is an interior designer with a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces. She graduated from the New York Interior Design School in 2019 and has since worked on numerous high-end residential and retail projects. Julia is highly knowledgeable about finish materials and loves figuring out how different materials can be joined together to create stunning moments.
